About MRR Software

MRR Software is composed of one guy (Mickey Roberson) writing OS X software in his free time.  I’m learning by doing and my software has come a long way since my initial efforts.

I write Cocoa by day, and then by nights and weekends I’m hammering out my own Cocoa apps.  But I do more than just code, I do everything for my apps: code, test, graphics(app icons and toolbar icons), website design, implmentation and application support.

The icon for MRR Software(seen above), is based on my dog Callie.  She’s a Border Collie mix that frequently bears a red bandana.  As she keeps me company while I’m coding, I felt she deserved a place in my software, and an icon seemed appropriate.

All apps published under MRR Software are intended to be above all useful, usable and beautiful.

Occam’s Razor states: entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity.

This too is true of software design and from that principle comes this software.

You saved my bacon. I had a problem with the 999 thing on a camera card, nearly erasing my son’s birth. I looked all over and stopped short of buying LightRoom for batch processing of files. Until I found your wonderful program. Thank you so much for this. Thank you so Much! You will never know how much grief you have saved me and my family.
